First, you must make a signature which will follow all your posts. This should be formatted as follows:
    Character Name
    Character Race
    Classes and levels
    Alignment
    AC, Touch, Flat Foot

Be sure to enable signature when you post in the thread. This allows everyone to know who and what is taking an action, and allows characters and NPCs to make actions vs the characters using alignment or AC without having to wait for a response from the affected person.

Second, posts should have a label at the top of the body of text stating who the post is directed at (i.e. World for action, specific person, or specific item). Then the general body of your text including actions, speech in quotation marks, and personal feelings. Please include as much as possible that does not require a response or interferes with another person's actions.

Third, this game is using standard 3.5 edition core rules and other DnD reference materials at the DM's discretion. This is designed to be highly role play based, so please give much thought to your characters actions and feelings.

it is very important to make sure that you take as much action in each post as possible. This will keep the game moving along at a much more rapid pace. If you want information from a character or NPC, please make sure you are specific about what you are looking for.
"Have you heard any rumors about people looking for hired muscle?"
    instead of
(I walk into the mayor's office and flex)

If you leave your actions open to interpretation, be prepared to have things happen to your character that you didn't intend or anticipate. For Example,
(I walk into the tavern and look for an open stool by the bar)
    instead of
(I walk into the tavern to grab a drink)
The second one might imply grabbing a drink out of the hands of a patron at the tavern, which would lead to some unforseen consequences for the player.
